Pallia-Vie, which has been operating for more than 25 years in the Laurentians, is a non-profit organization offering professional support services, whether at home or at our offices. Pallia-Vie is there to help you, to accompany you and to prepare you towards a return to your normal equilibrium and in the re-appropriation of your life. All of our services are free.

Pallia-Vie wishes to team-up with you to efficiently fight against cancer, in a commitment which gives priority to the person.

History
Answering the various needs expressed by a clientele requesting complementary helping relationship services, Pallia-Vie was born in Saint-Jérôme in 1983. In almost twenty years, Pallia-Vie became the main organization offering services to people suffering from cancer and their family in the greater Saint-Jérôme region.

The experience cumulated over the years has enabled Pallia-Vie to win the respect and confidence of the population and the medical field whom do not hesitate to ask for the nurses' support. Pallia-Vie's involvement ensures the complementarity with the services offered by the CLSC to support the patients and their family in developing their autonomy or whenever it means to accompany those who so desire during the course of their illness. It is thanks to the generosity of individuals, of organizations, social and services clubs from the region, among which Centraide Laurentides in particular, that Pallia-Vie still continues to carry its mission today. The support of all these people has been the main motivational source of our team, from the beginning.
